Boudoir at a Wedding Venue

For this Valentine’s Day we had a chance to shoot at the beautiful, historic Orting Manor and it was the cat's pajamas! Orting Manor is a freshly renovated french country inspired home in the heart of downtown Orting, and is often used for weddings and other events.

During this shoot we also had the pleasure of working with luxurious local vendors. Basil and Brie Charcuterie and Tumwater Vineyard who provided an amazing charcuterie spread and delicious wine. The perfectly fresh flowers were provided by Cindy of Flower Fayes.

The makeup was all done by Megan Root Makeup Artistry (@meganrootmakeup on instagram) and hair was done by Olena Tkach (@hair.byolena on instagram) and Marea Rayburn (@hairbymarearayburn on instagram).

I love doing Valentine's Day shoots because it’s all about LOVE! Some clients do a Valentine’s Day shoot to show self-love and embrace who they are in their own bodies. It brings me great joy to help them with that gift to themselves and help them feel their best and most confident! I hope each of my clients leaves loving themselves a little more!

In addition to these solo Valentine’s Day shoots, I also love couples boudoir shoots! Couples Boudoir is fun because I set them loose and help them interact with each other. I often hear from my couples that the session increases their romantic feelings towards one another and reminds them how much they love each other in the first place.

I love seeing the passion, chemistry, and playfulness that these couples exude when they’re together. The meaningful looks they exchange, the affectionate little pats they give each other, the giggles…all of it reminds me that true love is out there and it’s magical!
